Assesment
As part of a unit on visual identity and media influence, students created 2D cardboard portraits of their favorite influencers. This project developed their skills in proportion, composition, and concept while encouraging reflection on identity in contemporary culture. Peer critiques, self-reflective sketchbooks, and ongoing teacher feedback were used throughout as assessment tools. The project formed a central part of the unit, combining creative expression with critical thinking and also visual literacy. Below I have my assesment design plan and the unit of learning used, highlighting the key areas of assesment including Teacher, Student and Self Reflection.
